A Great Day Was Had By All |
| If you haven’t yet made the trip to London for a Mark Masons Grand Lodge Meeting you are missing a great experience, a great day out amongst the friends you know and those you haven’t yet met, everyone will be pleased to see you and welcome you with open arms. You should add it to your Mark to do list, if you book trains well in advance it is very reasonable especially in First Class where you can sit back, relax and be served an excellent breakfast and looked after all the way there and back. |

| Taking the trip also means that you are also supporting your own West Lancs PGM RW Bro. Keith Alan Beardmore and those Brethren who are being honoured with Grand Lodge Rank, be it as an Acting Officer, First Time appointment or at the September meeting Promotions. |

| I was really proud to be appointed along with my new lifelong friends Graham Corday as one of two Acting Grand Stewards and David Rotheram who was honoured with the office of Acting Grand Senior Deacon at last year’s meeting, what a memorable year we have had together attending as many meetings as possible around the Province, the memories we have shared are priceless and will be with us forever. |

| The figure suggested for attendance at the meeting was around two thousand, now as is always said “the pictures never lie”, just take a look at the happy smiling faces, lots of friendly banter and everyone enjoying each other’s company. |

| Everything as usual has to come to an end and for us the three Acting Officers handing the chains of office back was really hard having said that we are very proud to have represented our PGM and the Province for the past year and who knows what the future may hold, all we can do is keep working hard for this the wonderful Friendly and Happy Degree. |

| The next meeting of Grand Lodge is scheduled for Tuesday the 11th September when all the promotions are preferred, best way to get there from West Lancs is probably by train, if you book early enough the price is very reasonable, make the trip you will enjoy it. |
